ABL kiwi and mango peeling machine,
KMP30 operates at a speed of 30 fruit per minute. To be hand fed, fruits are
hand positioned into the loading cup and are collected by a selfcentering hand
whose purpose is that to bring them close to the peeling head. From then to end,
the working cycle is completely automatic.
Entirely performed through mechanical
proceeding, the machine features some very special options. Peeling is adjustable
and gradual in the meaning that it is possible to set the depth and the width
(the dimension) of the path crossed by the peel knife to suit each fruit variety.
Kiwi
and mango are cleaned of the external peel and then freed of the top end extremities
Besides,
with the addition of some blades kiwi can be cut along slices having thickness
larger than 10 mm. At present time this application is possible for kiwi only,
considering that the dimensions of the stone of the mango and the irregularity
of positioning makes very difficult any single process other than the simple peeling.
The structure and the basic frame of KMP30 is the same of
the citrus peeler OP30 with exceptions of some particular.
What makes different one technology from the other is the
conformation of the peeling unit and some few more components
which are specially manufactured taking into account the different
characteristics of kiwi and mango in comparison to oranges
and grapefruits.
